Responsible Commerce Standard
Effective
Onbold's responsible commerce standard applies to the products and services we agree to buy and resell, and to the conduct of the suppliers supporting those sales. It is designed to protect buyers and support legitimate businesses through clear, proportionate expectations.
This standard operates alongside our Restricted & Prohibited Products and Activities policy, Fulfilment & Delivery Standard, Buyer Terms and Seller Terms. It does not expand a supplier's approved scope.
Be clear about the business and the offer
Suppliers must provide accurate information about their identity, ownership, products, supply rights and operating arrangements. Products must be described honestly, with material limitations, compatibility requirements and conditions disclosed before purchase.
Pricing, delivery charges, recurring charges, renewal arrangements and cancellation conditions must be clear. Fabricated reviews, false endorsements, misleading scarcity, hidden subscriptions, deceptive claims and concealed charges are unacceptable. Marketing must not promise a medical, financial, educational or other outcome that cannot lawfully and credibly be supported.
Onbold must be identified appropriately as the retail seller for Onbold transactions. Suppliers must not obscure that relationship or issue contradictory retail terms for matters reserved to Onbold.
Supply lawful, authentic and suitable products
Suppliers must have the rights and capability needed to supply what is offered. Products must satisfy applicable requirements for their intended markets, including relevant safety, labelling, ingredients, traceability and intellectual-property requirements.
Evidence requirements depend on the actual product and legal role. We do not impose a blanket exclusion merely because a product is a cosmetic, a toy, children's clothing or contains a battery. Inclusion in a broad category does not approve every specialist product within it.
Unsafe, counterfeit, unlawfully marketed or prohibited products must not enter Onbold sales. Suppliers must report material safety concerns, recalls, loss of supply rights and other changes that could affect buyers promptly, and cooperate with appropriate corrective action.
Deliver what the buyer purchased
Delivery promises must be realistic. Suppliers must maintain reliable fulfilment, accurate shipment information and usable return arrangements. Digital access, subscriptions and services must match the purchased offer and continue for the agreed period, subject to applicable terms and lawful cancellation.
Suppliers remain responsible for the fulfilment partners they use. Dropshipping does not remove the need to know the supply chain, substantiate authenticity, provide tracking or support returns. Cross-border arrangements must meet the agreed delivery and prepaid-charge requirements; buyers must not be exposed to undisclosed charges to obtain their order.
Respect buyer rights and support buyers
Buyers must receive clear information about contacting Onbold, withdrawing where a right applies, cancelling a subscription and obtaining remedies for non-delivery or non-conformity. These are distinct processes and must not be presented misleadingly.
Suppliers must assist Onbold with investigations and remedies without imposing unauthorised conditions. A supplier-payment dispute must not be used to obstruct a buyer's valid refund or continued access to a product already purchased. Our Complaints & Buyer Support Guide explains how buyers can contact us directly.
Handle information responsibly
Personal information must be used only for authorised purposes and shared only as needed. Suppliers must protect access credentials, cooperate with relevant privacy requests and report suspected compromise promptly. Our Privacy Policy explains Onbold's processing; contractual data responsibilities also apply to suppliers.
Cooperate with review and correction
Suppliers must disclose material changes and respond to reasonable information requests. Where a concern arises, Onbold may require correction, restrict an affected activity or stop new sales in accordance with the agreement. Decisions should address the actual issue and preserve obligations to existing buyers.
Concerns about an Onbold purchase or supplier conduct can be reported to support@onbold.com, or to complaints@onbold.com as a formal complaint.
