Products, checkout and the moment of purchase

Onbold Commerce gives you the tools to define what you sell, how it is priced and how the Buyer completes the purchase.

Use Onbold’s hosted tools, connect an existing storefront, or combine both.

Build the Product once

Create and manage Product information in one place, including:

  • Product name and description;
  • pricing;
  • currency;
  • purchase type;
  • tax treatment;
  • discounts, fees and surcharges;
  • billing configuration.

The Product record becomes the starting point for checkout, billing, Orders and reporting.

Sell through the route that fits

Onbold can support different ways to reach checkout.

That can include:

  • hosted Product pages;
  • payment links;
  • Shopify;
  • WooCommerce;
  • API-driven checkout;
  • Onbold Commerce sales tools.

Different routes can coexist across the same Seller account.

No forced migration.

A checkout built around the actual Order

Checkout brings together the Product, Buyer information, tax calculation and payment into one purchase flow.

The Buyer sees the amount being charged, applicable tax and the total before payment is completed.

Onbold then creates the corresponding Order and takes responsibility for the Buyer-facing retail transaction.

Support more than one payment journey

The same commerce setup can support:

  • one-time purchases;
  • subscriptions;
  • instalments;
  • scheduled payments;
  • metered billing.

That means the checkout experience can remain connected to the billing model rather than becoming a separate system.

Secure payment handling

Card data is received and processed through PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment infrastructure.

Raw card details remain within that secure environment. Outside it, Onbold works with reference IDs, aliases and tokens.

Stored payment credentials can then support repeat purchases and recurring billing without exposing raw card data to the wider platform.

The practical benefit

You can keep the storefront and customer journey that already work while moving more of the payment and transaction infrastructure behind them into Onbold.

Your Product and brand stay yours. The machinery behind completing the sale is already in place.
