Cookie Policy
Effective
1. About this policy
This policy explains how onbold.com uses cookies and similar technologies, what each one is for, and how you can choose which ones are used.
The site is operated by Onbold Commerce Limited, a company registered in Cyprus (company number HE497763, VAT number CY60401989J) with its registered office at Prodromou 75, Oneworld Parkview House, 4th Floor, 2063 Nicosia, Cyprus.
How we handle personal data more generally, including your rights, is explained in our Privacy Policy. This policy covers onbold.com only. Other Onbold websites, such as onbold.ai, and checkouts or portals operated on behalf of a Seller have their own notices.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser and reads back on later visits. Similar technologies work in the same way without being cookies: browser storage, for example, keeps a value on your device until it is cleared.
Some of these technologies are strictly necessary for a site to work or to stay secure. Others are optional, and we use them only if you allow them.
3. The choices you can make
When you first visit onbold.com, a banner asks how cookies may be used. You can choose Accept all, Reject all or Customise, which lets you turn each optional category on or off. Nothing optional is used until you choose to allow it.
We group cookies and similar technologies into three categories:
- Strictly necessary — needed for the site to work and to protect it, such as remembering your cookie choice and checking that a form is being sent by a person. These are always on, because the site cannot work properly without them.
- Analytics — help us understand which pages answer people's questions, using Google Analytics (see section 7).
- Marketing — measures whether a campaign led someone to Onbold: if you allow it, Google may use the analytics measurements for Google Ads (see section 7). We do not set any marketing cookies ourselves.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page.
4. Cookies we set
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
onbold_consent |
Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choices — which categories you allowed and when you chose — so that we respect them and do not ask again on every page. | 180 days | Onbold |
_ga |
Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another, so that visits can be counted without knowing who you are. | Up to 2 years | |
_ga_TE9H2MXCHY |
Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit, so that the pages viewed in it are counted as one visit. | Up to 2 years |
5. Other storage on your device
| Item | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
onbold:order-hint |
Session storage | Remembers that we have already shown you the note about accessing an Order, so it is not repeated on every page during your visit. | Until you close the browser tab | Onbold |
6. Security provided by Cloudflare
onbold.com is delivered and protected by Cloudflare. To tell people apart from automated traffic and to stop abuse, Cloudflare may set the following strictly necessary cookies:
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm |
Strictly necessary | Helps distinguish people from automated traffic, so the site can be protected against abusive bots. | 30 minutes | Cloudflare |
cf_clearance |
Strictly necessary | Records that your browser has passed a security check, so you are not asked to complete it again straight away. | 30 minutes | Cloudflare |
_cfuvid |
Strictly necessary | Applies request limits fairly when several people share the same internet connection. | Until you close the browser | Cloudflare |
Which of these is set depends on the protection in use at the time, and on whether a security check is needed for your visit.
When you start filling in a form on onbold.com, the site also loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that confirms the form is being sent by a person. Turnstile runs inside a frame provided by Cloudflare and loads only when you use a form. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to the information it processes for this check.
7. Analytics and marketing
If you allow Analytics, onbold.com loads Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages people use. It sets the two Google cookies listed in section 4. Nothing from Google loads until you allow it. If you later withdraw your choice, the measurement stops and these cookies are removed from your browser.
onbold.com and onbold.ai are measured in the same Google Analytics property, so a visit that continues from onbold.com to onbold.ai counts as one visit. To make that possible, a link from onbold.com to onbold.ai can carry a short identifier.
We do not set any marketing cookies. If you also allow Marketing, Google may use these measurements to measure and personalise Google Ads; if you do not, it may not. How Google uses the data is set out in Google's Privacy Policy.
8. Measuring how fast pages load
To keep the site fast, onbold.com measures how quickly its pages load and respond, using the browser's own performance measurements. These measurements are sent to onbold.com itself, not to a third-party analytics service. They do not use cookies and do not include any identifier, so they cannot be linked to you or to your other visits.
9. Links to other websites
Some pages link to other websites, including onbold.ai, where Sellers can check whether their business is a fit for Onbold. When you follow a link, the other website's own cookie and privacy notices apply.
10. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete cookies, or block them, in your browser's settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work as intended — for example, we will not be able to remember your cookie choice, and forms may not pass their security check.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we change the cookies or similar technologies we use. If a new technology needs your consent, we will update this policy first and ask for your choice again before using it. The date at the top of this policy shows when it last changed.
12. Contact
If you have a question about this policy or about how we use cookies, email privacy@onbold.com. Your rights over your personal data, and how to use them, are set out in our Privacy Policy.
